          Squidoo   Squidoo is a social content website that encourages you to share and promote your business and yourself - you will be creating "lens" which is basically an assortment of content and modules you publish which gets hosted and featured on Squidoo.   In the lens, you would encourage y our reader to go visit your Landing page resulting in traffic to your site :-)  Google LOVES Squidoo lenses and likes to rank them on the top 10 search engines for the keywords you choose to optimize your lens with.

            Jing Project  Make Videos to post.  You can literally record your video, and have it on the web live with TWO of a mouse clicks.  One to Hit "record" and a second to hit "share".   The brilliance of Jing is in its simplicity... And oh ya.... it's FREE, and it works on both PC's and MAC'd!  The only drawback is that your videos are limited to 5 minutes in length.  if you need more time you'll have to use Camtasia which is costly.

I ONLY use these surf sites for advertising.  If you invest in them do very very little.  Buy an ad pack or 2 so they will let you keep your sites up.  DON'T invest anymore than you can afford to lose.  Better yet...... DON'T invest in them at ALL except for an ad pack or 2.  You can sign up with most of them for free & be able to put your site up, but you will have to surf to earn ad credits.  Be sure to click on Manage Sites and put in Your Website so it goes into the rotator to be viewed by other surfers - Remember to go back daily to issue your site the credits.  Put in your .com Lead Capture page.

*Make sure you put a cap on your spending, or fund your account, or take your monthly budget and divide it by 30 for you daily spending rate  this is important to control you spending  you will pick how much to pay per click  I spend pretty close to $4 a click - a little under but others are on the front page by spending 50 cents or less depending on the keyword  you want to be on the front page if at all possible and in the top section of the first page is the best  you can play with the amount you are willing to spend to get higher once you get going. 

The smaller search engines are a lot less and will produce sales too bare this in mind

Newspaper & Ads

These are some suggestions for using in newspapers or on-line advertising.  Be sure to put you link to your Capture Page, hopefully a domain name, NOT your NPN company site!  I have used traditional advertising with great success - USA Today is expensive but produced many sales - Penny Savers have also worked well.  Market to Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, Sales People, Contractors, etc.

Classified ads should be direct, short and opportunity specific. Make sure your ad appeals to a prospects desires or creates a sense of urgency. The ad needs to move them into taking action. The right ad, in the right place can have bring lots of traffic to your website.  After you write your classified ad ask yourself if you would take action after seeing the ad.  Ask people around you, this is a good time to solicit potential business!  The BOLD TITLES start each new ad. Always advertise your Lead Capture page.

Press Releases

Press Releases are a great way to get right on the front page of Google and Yahoo - creating your own lead generator.  Go to Google and search Passport To Wealth Press Releases  -  Read several press releases then copy and paste the sections that appeal to you into a word document...... you are doing this just for ideas.  Rewrite in your own words from a reporter perspective.  You will be announcing NPN as an Exciting Opportunity!  At the end of the press release you will refer them to your site for more information!    (use your landing/marketing site here) 

Then go to www.prweb.com and www.webwire.com to have it hosted.   To get even higher on the search engines - go to http://www.usfreeads/ and place several ads advertising your press release sending traffic right to what you wrote.  This is Called Daisy Chaining - you are hooking sites together.  The more you daisy chain ...... the higher your chances of appearing at the top of the search engines.  You can even advertise your press release in blogs at http://www.blogger.com/.   Here is a FREE spot to do a press release:  http://free-press-release.com/submit

Rent-a-list

You can hire this company to send YOUR email out to their list advertising your business.  The reason I have not pushed this company before is there are variables involved - you have to write a strong email with a catchy subject line - they will design an incredible HTML email for you and then send it out to the list of your choice.  Most people use the Targeted Email Advertising.  Please only send to a small number until you have tested the category you would like to use - then if you have any opt-ins - then do a larger email blast.  You can have Amazing results or No results..... so proceed cautiously. 

I have seen people get 4 to 6 signups and over a hundred optins in one hour with more to follow with one email blast - and I have seen others get hardly anything.
